1. Introduction

HOME+ Solution enables seamless experiences for condominium residents, enhances productivity and brings cost savings in management councils with the use of advanced technologies on a holistic platform. It also promotes efficient communications among residents, managements, security personnel, and creates vibrant and connected condominium communities. It is extremely important to us that you not only have a pleasant experience using HOME+, but also that you feel comfortable and safe while doing so.

This Privacy Policy describes and governs how COLOSO PTE LTD, the developer, operator and owner of HOME+ Solution, and CIS-TRONICS PTE LTD, the authorized system integrator of HOME+ Solution (collectively “HOME+”, “HOME+ Entities”, “Homeplus”, “we”, “us”, “our”) may collect, use and disclose your personal data.

This Privacy Policy supplements our Terms of Service and explains how we handle information collected and received during your use of the HOME+ Website, including HOME+ official website and subdomains (“Website”), HOME+ mobile application (“App”), and condominium management technologies, including without limitation access technologies, facilities management technologies and security alerts technologies (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy applies to you if you use this Services either directly (for example, as a condominium resident) or indirectly (for example, as a condominium visitor), and applies to your personal data in our procession or under our control. By using this Services, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, whether in whole or part, you should stop using this Services immediately. You are strongly encouraged to read this Privacy Policy carefully and check back periodically as we update it from time to time. Each time you use this Services, you signify your agreement to the latest version of this Privacy Policy that is in force. 

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Information

We collect, use, and process information, including Personal Data, to provide, understand, improve, and develop our Services, create and maintain a trusted and safe environment, and comply with our legal and contractual obligations. Using the information we collect, we are able to deliver the Services and honour our Terms of Use. 

2.1 Information We Receive from Your Use of Our Services

We provide a variety of features and functions in our Services. Depending on which Services you elect to use, one or more of the following information may be collected:

Account Information. When you sign up for an Account, we may require personal data such as your full name, address, mobile number, and email address. We will use this information to verify and authenticate your identity and generally maintain your Account with us. We may also use this information to send you messages related to our Services, including without limitation welcome note, confirmation or error notification when you register your Account, invite visitors, or addition/deletion/change of vehicle, or when there is notices/broadcasts sent by the condo management. These messages are not promotional in nature. These messages may be delivered by push notification, email, and/or sms. You may not opt-out of receiving these messages from HOME+ unless you deactivate your Account.

Profile Information. To help improve your experience or enable certain features of the Services, you may choose to create a profile including without limitation information such as your alias and avatar images.

Guest Contact. When you elect to use HOME+ to invite your guests, or when you register yourself as a visitor at the condominium, you may provide us with contact information including without limitation full name, alias, mobile number and email address of your guest and yourself, respectively.

Face Image. When you elect to use facial recognition systems provide by HOME+, you may provide us with an image which contains your facial information. The image will be used to create a Face ID that contains the facial features of the user. Face ID can be used for door access purposes.

Vehicle Number. When you elect to use license plate recognition systems provided by HOME+, you may provide us with your vehicle number. The vehicle number will be used for automatic vehicle access purposes.

Uploaded Files. You may elect to upload files (e.g. Word, Excel, PDF, JPEG) when you elect to use our Services, including without limitation eForm submission or management feedbacks.

Payment Information. Some of our Services require payment. We may directly or use third party service providers to collect information necessary to complete the transaction. Such information may include name, credit card and billing information, as well as additional fields required for payment.

Communication. If you contact us (for example via email or mobile) we will collect information such as your name, mobile number, email address, as well as any other content that you provide. We also may create event logs to diagnose product or app related issues, and capture information relating to any support or service issues. To improve customer service, subject to applicable laws, we may also record and review conversations with customer support representatives and analyse any feedback provided through voluntary customer surveys.

Additional Information. You may otherwise choose to provide us information when you fill in a form, conduct a search, update or add information to your Account, respond to surveys, provide feedback, request support, post to forums, participate in promotions, or use other features of our Services. We may also collect information at other points in our Services when clearly stated that information is being collected.

Geo-location. When you use certain features of our Services, we may collect information about your precise or approximate location as determined through data such as your IP address or mobile device’s GPS to offer you an improved user experience. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services for applications in the device’s settings menu.

Usage Information. We collect information about your interactions with the Services, such as when you login, pages you visit, buttons you click, and other actions performed with our Services.

Log Data and Device Information. We automatically collect log data and device information when you access and use our Services, even if you have not created an Account or logged in. That information includes, among other things: details about how you’ve used the Services, IP address, access dates and times, hardware and software information, device information, device event information, unique identifiers, crash data, cookie data, and the pages you’ve viewed or engaged with before or after using the Services.

Online Activity Trackers. We use cookies and other similar technologies to understand how you use our Services which, in turn, helps us to provide and improve our Services. These trackers do not typically access, receive or collect information which can be used to identify you. You can configure your device’s settings to reflect your preference to accept or reject cookies. If you reject all cookies, you will not be able to take full advantage of our Services.

2.2 Information We Receive from Third Parties

We may receive personal data about you from a third party source, including without limitation the management council, management agents, security service provider, payment service provider, delivery personnel, renovation contractors, house movers, locksmith, plumbers, and cleaners from time to time when we provide the Services.

We exercise appropriate due diligence to check and ensure that the third party source can validly give consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the individual’s personal data, or the individual has consented, or deemed to have consented, to the disclosure of his or her personal data by the third party source.

2.3 Information We Receive About Other Individuals

We may receive information about other individual from you, for example, when you use HOME+ visitor management system to invite and/or record visitor information, or when you submit person data on behalf of a resident to HOME+. If the information you provided includes personal data of other individuals, you agree to obtain explicit or deemed consent, whenever required under the applicable law, from these individuals to collect and disclose his or her personal data to us prior to the submission of such personal data. By consenting to this Privacy Policy, you confirm that explicit or deemed consent has been obtained from the relevant individuals.

3. Information We Disclose

We may disclose your personal data in the following ways:

Disclosure to Condominium Management. We may disclose your personal data with the management council and the designated management agency, security personnel, and other authorized persons and contractors in the operations of condominium management.

Disclosure to Service Provider. We may disclose your personal data with our partners and third party service providers who assist us in performing certain aspects of our Services on our behalf, such as processing payment transactions, fulfilling requests for information, receiving and sending communications, providing support services or in other tasks. Such service providers will only have access to your personal data to the extent necessary to perform their functions.

Disclosure to Law Enforcement Agencies. We may disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to prevent fraud or crime, to protect our Services or the rights, property or personal safety of any person.

Disclosure of Anonymous Data. We may disclose and aggregate anonymous statistics about users of our Services and sales to prospective partners, advertisers, sponsors and other reputable third parties to describe our Services or for other lawful purposes, but these data and statistics will not include information which can be used to identify you.

4. Protection of Information

The security of your information is important to us. We have security measures in place to protect against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, destruction, or alteration of information under our control. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information transmitted to us over the Internet, both during transmission and once we receive it. Some of the safeguards we use to protect your information are firewalls and data encryption, and information access controls. Here are some of the highlights.

 – Data transmission to and from HOME+ servers within the HOME+ platform uses HTTPS connections with TLS/SSL encryption. Clients and servers use public and private keys to encrypt the communication between them. Requests and response are encrypted with the keys so that anyone who intercepts communications can only see a random string of characters instead of plaintext. 

 – Data stored at HOME+ servers (e.g. Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud) is protected by server-side firewall. All data at rest is encrypted using 256-Bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256). Storage is set for automatic database backups with relational database service database snapshot. 

 – Access to production servers are limited by access control permissions. Access rights is granted on a need-to basis within the organization. Access is also restricted to white-listed devices and IP addresses. HOME+ is built on microservices architecture which isolate each service with independent access control and permission.

 – User Accounts (e.g. App users and condo administrators) are protected using alphanumeric passwords. All passwords are encrypted at source and during transmission.

 – Continuous redundancy monitoring on production servers to remove all non-operational services leaving only primary functions active, close all unused ports and ensure no default passwords and configurations are set.     

We also make reasonable efforts to retain personal data only for so long as the information is necessary to comply with an individual’s request or until that person asks that the information be deleted. We do not transfer any personal data to a country or territory outside Singapore.

Despite our best efforts, however, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. It is important for you to take part in the protection of your data. You undertake to treat your username, password and order details confidentially and not make it available to unauthorized third parties. We cannot assume any liability for misuse of your HOME+ username, password or order details, except as stated in the Terms of Use. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your Account and information by choosing your password carefully and keeping your password and Account secure (e.g. by signing out after using our Services).

We will retain your information for as long as your Account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. If you would like us to stop the Services, you may close your Account. We will retain minimally necessary information comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

5. Your Rights

You may access, remove and update your personal data within our Services through the relevant setting page of your Account and/or with the assistance of the condominium management.

Where you provide personal data about yourself to us, you are responsible for providing accurate, not misleading, complete and up-to-date information about yourself and any other person whose personal data you provide us, and to update this personal data as and when it becomes inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or out-of-date.

You may contact our personal data protection officer at if you wish to:

a) Apply for a copy of the information we hold about you; or

b) Withdraw consent you previously provided to us to use, collect or disclose the information we hold about you.

Please allow us a reasonable time to respond to any request and effect any change. We may ask to verify your identity and for more information about your request. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we may refuse your request and may give you reasons for doing so. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee to cover the costs of responding to your request. If we decide to do so, we will provide you with a written estimate of such fee beforehand.

6. Third Party Websites and Resources

Our Services may contain links to third party websites. When you click on such links, you will leave our Services and go to another website and other entities may collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you. We have no control over the content and privacy practices of such websites. You are advised to review the privacy policies of these websites operated by third parties and understand how your information may be used by those third parties.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. If we change the Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version here and change the “Effective Date” listed. We encourage you to check here periodically for the most up-to-date version of our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our Services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
